July 2013 Newsletter

Dear Friends, Family, and Fellow Supporters:

What a busy, busy time we have had in the last few months. Our Summer seemed to fly by very quickly. We began it with our Annual Cowboy Camp meeting and ended it with the start of our 32nd year of Christian school. Where does the time go? Family Camp was almost doubled in size this year and we had such a good time with family members in contests against each other. Summer Bible Camps went well again this year with two young men surrendering to preach the Gospel, and everyone who attended making some kind of decision for Christ including 5 saved and 3 getting assurance of their salvation.  God was, is, and always will be so very good to us.

We were able to host two more weeks of partnership with the fine folks at Bearing Precious Seed again this summer. We had church groups from several states come together for a great time of reaching souls for the cause of Christ. We were able to go out soul winning during the week handing out John and Romans throughout the community and all over the Reservation. We ended each week with a big service on Thursday nights at the camp’s open air Tabernacle. After they performed puppet shows, and contests each week, I was able to preach to a packed out crowd. The first week we saw 58 saved and the second week we saw 54 saved. In those two weeks combined we were able to see 112 souls saved in our ministry and God blessed greatly with over 100 visitors in church over those two weeks. Praise the Lord!!!

The 2013-2014 school year is starting up already and we are looking forward to another good year. This is our oldest sons Senior Year which doesn’t seem possible.  Our school has once again had to turn away students due to a lack of teachers which we so desperately need. Please pray for our school as we are full of upper level  students and have a waiting list for Jr. High, and High School. Thank You All for your Prayers & Support!

Big day

God is so Good! We ended our Fall Campaign and bus contest today with a Big Day. We had 220 on the busses with over 50 visitors in church, and right at 500 in the morning services. Souls saved and baptism service ended with my bus drivers Mother-in-law getting baptized. Preacher dedicated his new pulpit today also to start the new year. It was Beautiful all the way around. Praise The Lord!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well it's already holiday season again. Time really seems to fly by so fast. We are over half way through with our bus contest and have already seen over 100 visitors in church since we started. God has blessed us Greatly with souls saved and lives changed. Many young families are growing in The Lord and serving Him well in the ministry. We would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and say Thank You all for your support and prayers.

Fall Campaign

Preseason ended with a high day of 182 on buses so we set a goal of 200 for the big day. In our second week of the regular season we already reached that goal with 202 last Sunday. Praise The Lord! God is Good!

School Year 2012-2013

We were able to open school once again this year with kids on the waiting list. After losing another teacher from last year we had to limit the enrollment even more this year. We have begun the year working hard to plug holes and fill gaps as we are training new graduates to learn our system and be able to take over teaching duties. I am asking everyone to please pray for my mom who this year has three grades to teach in a traditional setting which is next to impossible. She has had three surgeries in the last year and may be facing another if the last one did not fix the problem. Now she is dealing with stressful classroom problems causing anxiety attacks and high blood pressure issues. We are not able to loose her as a teacher without having to drastically change the whole school system or cut attendance to a minimum. Serious prayers are needed in this area as we are praying for folks to answer the call of God to come and help in the ministry. As always God is Good and Satan is fighting so pray for us as we keep on keeping on.

Summer Jump

This past summer was so very busy as we had many weeks of Bible Camps, Work Groups, & Missions Trips. We ended up with over 90 folks saved from June through August. God blessed us in our partnership with the Bearing Precious Seed groups coming in for two weeks of canvassing the county with scripture. At the end of each week we were able to have a Thursday night service. When I got done preaching to a packed out open air Tabernacle 28 got saved one week & 24 got saved the other week. God truly blessed us as we were able to share the Gospel with so many folks. Thanks to all those who took time to come out and help us reach the Navajo Nation one soul at a time.
